One thing I should probably point out is that I am running Through the Drakwald at Origins at the end of June. As such, I need to start reading the adventure in a few weeks. If this is going to be a problem, let me know and I can drop out of this game.
Insight: That's really up to you. If you can separate IC knowledge from meta-game knowledge, I have no problem with it. And I should note that Karl's running the same adventure as a PbP right now, IIRC.

I was just wondering if Ottokar was disarmed by the tentacled mutant, or was your description regarding how he parried the blow. I'll assume Ottokar still has a hammer, as the mutant did attack him. Let me know if I'm off on my understanding of the situation.
Lot just wanted to point out that the parrying stance is an advanced action and KL said we would only be using basic combat rules.
Not that I mind (I'm so used to more complex rules that even the advance WFRP rules are refreshingly simple) but I just thought you should know.
Iron Captain: Good catch, IC. I goofed there, because I was paying attention to the Dodge and Parry rules on the next page.
That said, since I've already allowed it once (and am comfortable with it), I'm going to allow parrying stance, and I'll revisit the rest of the advanced options after "Through the Drakwald."
