Warlock/Barbarian Gestalt help

We already Have a Scout/Rogue character so I don't want to overlap with him (so far we also have a melee character, probably Knight/Paladin or Knight/Marshall)

Oh...well....hmm...Oh! A couple of campaigns ago our DM had this really nasty Kobold Monk Warlock that tormented us for many game sessions. We finally got the little creep but geez was it a pain and we had to really use some strategy and trickery to do it. It was a great build. Very hard to hit, hard to see, hard to catch and still managed to inflict some damage on us and thwart us several times.

was it a Kobold or a Dragonwrought Kobold?

I will look into a Warlock//Monk (I have always thought the best Warlock is one with 2*Battle Caster, so he can wear Heavy armour without ASF)

While it may not help your base stats much, have you thought about a Rogue with a little Spellthief? Warlocks are considered arcane casters for qualifications of feats and PrC's so you can get Master Spellthief allowing you to get their iconic steal spell to stack with arcane casting level for how much you can steal in a far more portable frame. The Penetrating Strike from Dungeonscape trades trap sense for half sneak attack damage to be dealt so which means you can steal anyone's spells. If you really want to have more spellthief like flare look at the Hellbreaker PrC, you can even make Tome of Battle classes lose the ability to use their maneuvers.

Monk//Warlock might not work if you're playing good characters. Technically you have to be Lawful for Monk and Chaotic or Evil for Warlock. Since the Warlock says nothing about what happens when you change alignments, it's likely you could get away with it.

Visigani's suggestion of Warlock with Paladin on the other side has some good synergies. If you're not familiar with the Freedom, Slaughter, or Tyranny variants, they're listed at Variant Character Classes :: d20srd.org

Another option for divine caster is Favored Soul since it's charisma-based.

Also, keep in mind that a Druid's Wild Shape lasts for a number of hours equal to Druid level. At level 8 you could spend all day transformed into an animal. Depending on what you transform into this could be better than your humanoid form.

I'll look back through the Tome of Magic and see (I don't know the Tome of Magic/Battle that well)

EDIT: Knight of the Sacred Seal doesn't look that good, a Charisma bonus to AC and 1/day use a Binder power without waiting the 5 rounds, both seem good but not worth the PrC, am I missing something?
Yes

Edit 3: Didn't see page 2

I have never really liked Paladins, the mount is a pointless class feature and I can't find an ACF that removes it :( (EDIT 6 :( : The Charging Smite ACF replaces the mount so I might go a Paladin, but a High Dexterity is counter-productive because of the Heavy Armour)

The Spellthief is a light armour only class, I will have a better look at it before I decide but I don't think it's what I'm looking for

and yes we are good, and yes the DM says if I go Warlock I am chaos, just like the Barbarian which prevent me from using the Initiate of Compassion homebrew feat on D&D wiki :(

Favoured Soul would be good but it isn't Charisma based, it is Charisma and Wisdom based :( (I don't know if my DM will change that, I will ask)

And I didn't know that about the druids Wild Shape...I will have a look at going a Warlock//Druid, any suggestions on feats/PrCs would be helpful

EDIT 4: I have begun looking through the Druid's Handbook and assuming people are about to ask the Handbook says druid have three rolls, Summoner, Shaper and straight casters, they can scrifice the power of one or two of these to become better at the others, I want to sacrifice Summoner (I don't really want to slow down combat by having several characters) to power Wild Shape and Caster (I haven't looked at Wild Shape too closely yet so I want to specialise in Casting), and I have looked over the Elemental Companion feat and might take that

EDIT 5 :( : Most of the thing listed in the Druid's Handbook are from books my group doesn't have...I think I'll put the list of books into the OP

"EDIT: I forgot to include, my available books are the PHB 1/2, DMG 1/2, MM 1/2/3/4, Complete series (Except Scoundrel and Champion is conditional), MH, Libris Mortis, BoED, BoVD (although it requires approvement from the DM), ToB/ToM (DM approval required), Races of Dragon and XPH...I may have missed some so ask, but nothing is allowed from Faerun, Eberron or other Campaign setting"

As a final EDIT, is there a way to use Charisma for Ranged Touch attacks (the rules say that a a Ranged Touch attack is the same as a Ranged Attack, meaning that I need to use Charisma to aim my bow, I know it's reaching but it would cut down on MADness)
