Warlock Ideas

Flee the Scene is great both for moving on the battle field and confusing the enemy (those images of you left behind can draw enemy fire without you being harmed).

2: At 1st level, Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot. You'll be firing into melee a lot and even with a touch attack the -4 penalty can hurt. Later on look into Maximize SLA, Sudden Still, and Extra Invocation.

Doe these feats apply to ranged touch attacks? As the feats say with a ranged weapons! Or is i a house rule?

PB shot and Precise Shot specifically apply, as do many "weapon feats" like Weapon Focus, Improved Critical, and Improved Precise Shot (admittedly, the prereq for the latter means you have to wait until 15th level).

Unfortunatetly, Rapid Shot and Manyshot do not apply. You still only get one standard action per round, and you use it all up with the invocation. IF you want more bolts/rd, you need Quicken Spell like ability, Sudden Quicken, or Leadership. Although the invocation Eldritch Chain gives you something close.

Where are those rules written? Can't seem to find them!

Looks like he wants all of the 'spells as weapons' rules.

Werent they given in greater detail in complete arcane?

Originally in Tome and Blood, and then expanded upon and updated in Complete Arcane.

They exist in the core rules, as well, but it's kind of involved to get there from first principles. So the rules in T&B and CA don't so much change any rules as just make them absolutely clear.

I understand that ;) but generally pointing someone who is playing 3.5 towards the complete arcane for this sort of thing seems to be the best.

So there you are RSR, check out complete arcane, it will hopefully answer those questions for you!

Thanks, that was the answer I was looking for. Was looking in the PHB but couldn't find it! Complete Arcane has the anwser I was looking for!
