Warlock Invocations

First Post
I have looked tons of times and can't find how many times a warlock can use an invocation per day. I know eldritch blast is unlimited, but i don't know about blast shaping and other invocations. I was thinking about 3/day since they are a spell-like ability, but any other suggestions.

You know, I've seen this same question on three different boards multiple times. I'm starting to think that the Warlock write up is flawed in some major way...

That's the spell slot conditioning...

"There must be a limit somewhere, I'm sure, I just havn't found it yet." ;)

It uses "at will", which is a well defined term.

Right. I got that the first time I read the class. But I keep seeing other people that are confused by the issue. It just leads me to think that the flavor text could have be written better. Maybe that is because my wife is a professional writer...

I agree that the flavour text could've been written better. Taking a look at the text that describes when a Warlock can gain a lesser invocation and other more powerful invocations, and it's poorly worded.

I like the at will, but some of the more powerful invocations shouldn't really be at will. Utterdark Blast and other Eldritch affecting ones.

Warlocks are already restricted by the number of invocations they can learn. IMHO even the list they can chose from is somewhat limited.

It wouldn't be fair to limit the monotone life of the warlocks even further ;)
