Warlock spells at 3rd level

A warlock gains a new spell at every level. However at 3rd level a warlock is still limited to 1st level spells and there are only two 1st level spells on the warlock list: alarm and comprehend languages. I guess that later more spells might be added, but with the current rules there are no spells that can be chosen, right?

I noticed the exact same thing playing my warlock. Don't know what to tell you, it's just what it is.

I think its just an error. Thier are 5 spells for 5 levels and 3 of those spells are level 2 so clearly the table is wrong and you get second
level spells at level 3.

You have to keep in mind that Warlocks can only cast those spells as rituals.

Perhaps there aren't enough 1st level spells yet in the playtest material which can be cast as rituals.

For playtesting purposes, I think it's reasonable to allow your Warlock to pick any other 1st level spell at 3ed level even if technically it doesn't say "can be cast as ritual" and give it the typical ritual costs (25gp and 10 minutes).
