Warlock with Rapid Fire feat? More eldritch blasts?

My player wants to use the Rapid Fire feat to get more eldritch blasts out of his warlock. Is this possible? Why or why not?

Thanks in advance,

No, because Eldritch Blast is a spell like ability and thus activates on a standard action, not any sort of attack action.

Do you mean Rapid Shot? If so, no.

Launching an Eldritch Blast does not use an attack action. It uses the "activate a spell-like ability" action, which is a standard action.

Using Rapid Shot requires a character to be making the Full Attack action, which can only be done when making ordinary attacks. Eldritch Blast cannot be used as part of a full attack, and therefore Rapid Shot cannot be used with it.

To use Eldritch Blast against multiple targets in a single round, a character needs to take either the Eldritch Chain, Eldritch Cone or Eldritch Doom invocations, or the Quicken Spell-Like Ability feat, for which a warlock becomes eligible around 10th level.

Is there anything that allows a creature to do more than one "activate spell like ability" per round (not just multiple targets)?

Does it matter? You seem to want there to be, and you're the DM. If you've got no problem with him using Rapid Shot for multiple eldritch blasts, just let him.

I'd reccomend that if you do that, sticking to the whole -5 per iterative attack thing, though.

Quicken aside, no, and it's probably a bad idea to introduce one. Bear in mind that all warlock invocations, not just Eldritch Blast, are spell-like abilities. Do you really want your player firing off multiple Walls of Perilous Flame, or Voracious Dispellings, or Words of Changing per round? Do the normal spellcasters in your party really want to see the party warlock, who already gets infinite spells per day, now being allowed to cast them more often per round than they can?

Using an Eldritch Blast is like casting a spell, not like firing a bow. It's almost certainly not a good idea to change that.
