Warrior - Will Save

It sounds that you picked one of the worst DM's ever to pick up the DMG.

Since you are friends, I suggest that you talk to him, telling him that you don't have any fun, that you don't like when the DM metagames to destroy all the character's strengths (let's hope he won't bring any strength drainers) and exploits his weaknesses all the time.

I doubt you'll get this campaign back on track, so the best bet is to start a new one, with a better odds for the players. Of, if he doesn't want, I suggest you elect a more player-friendly DM.

No doubt....

All funny jabs aside, I concur with the others who suggest you talk it over with him. I am somewhat surprised that since you've been friends for so long that this wouldn't have come up, say, like 14 years ago..... I play in one group, most of which are childhood friends (25+ years of friendship) and this would never have been tolerated. That DM would have essentially been 'fired' by peer pressure alone.

Good luck, man.

(I still can't believe he killed your horse..........)

Cheers

Friends for 15 years, but we didnt do a ton of gaming together. We did a Cyberpunk game, that was cool. Vampire worked fairly well. He never gave anything away, I mean, no one would have accused him of being a monty haul gm of any sort, but this is crazy.
