Feh, swords and dwarves and elves etc can become stale after a while, so yes, more options is always good. One of my DMs opted to make orcs a player character race in his new campaign, and I jumped right into that. It's such a refreshing difference from the norm. Another DM has offered thri-kreen as a PC race in his next campaign. Bam, I'm so there.FreeTheSlaves said:I'm talking about spiked chains, hobgoblins, toads and stuff. You could publish some real cool rules for coat racks and lo, the party tanks are duel wielding them monkey gripped...![]()
Okay, does it matter? Should we care? Do we want MORE.
Monte's writing a book called Arcane Unearthed? If so, that's an incredibly lame rip-off of the Unearthed Arcana books of yore. Actually, even if they'd never existed, Arcane Unearthed just sounds... wrong.ForceUser said:I like having options and playing unique characters. I can't wait for Monte's Arcane Unearthed.

i agree that it sounds wierd, but its a homage, not a rip off. just to be fair... he even asked WotC if it was ok...
