Well, I picked up DragonMech

I've not read that much of it, I'm just at the classes section, but so far I must say that I really enjoy reading it. A lot of new stuff I look at is somewhat tedious, simply reading to learn new systems or rules, but I really enjoy the whole feeling of this campaign world.
I think I will pick up all of the dragonmech books. I am almost tempted to TPK my current group so we can start a dragonmech game, hehe.
Actually, I think I'm going to pick up the four part adventure and let one of the groupmembers interested in DMing run it. Then I get to play :)

Does anyone have a dragonmech story hour, or online game going on? Definately a setting I would enjoy reading more of.

The DragonMech core rules are a great read -- one of the best d20 books I've read in quite some time, actually. The adventure, Shardsfall Quest, is also excellent, and it contains all of the "high note" elements of a great DM scenario; also a very good read.

I just finished the third book, the Mech Manual, which gets the job done but isn't anywhere near as engagingly written as the first two. Haven't read The Second Age of Walkers yet, but since it also isn't written by Joseph Goodman (developer, and sole author for the first two books), I'm suspecting it'll be more like the MM. Even with that minor cavil (and YMMV and all that), this is still a really fun line. :)

It is a really interesting and unique concept for D&D but my only complaint with it is that the concepts seem really had to get your mind around at first. The entire city on the shoulders of a mech really was hard for me to conceptualize at first. But I agree that it is a pretty good idea for a campaign. Though this is something I think I would rather play in than run.

I have all the Dragonmech stuff, including Rumors & Lies (excellent resource).

If I had it all to do over again, the only one I might skip is The Shardsfall Quest. It's not terrible, but the end is complete Railroad Action. I won't say any more as you have a chance of being a Player for this.

Second Age of Walkers has been really good so far, though I have not finished it. It does contain a TON of information, so it's slow going.

Congratulations on getting into Dragonmech. This is one game I wish I ran more often.
