Well, SOMEBODY has to start a Survivor thread...[SPOILERS WILL FOLLOW!]

TracerBullet42

First Post
Yeah for everyone...everyone's in love on this show suddenly! Great for them...terribly boring for us viewers.

I thought Jeff was going to snap and kill Rob and Am-buh. Way to make the million dollars moot. They're going to end up splitting it anyway.

How could nobody realize what was going on and not vote one of them off? Disappointing season, I must say. And this "CBS is giving away another million" isn't helping, either. I want Jerri to win it because it would just be akward after her pouting session tonight.

So are we supposed to consider Am-buh the greatest Survivor contestant now because she won the "All-Star" edition? I hope not.

Thoughts?

I don't FRIGGIN beleive this. Hear me out:

I taped it tonight to watch it TOMORROW with my wife, because she couldn't tonight. Fine. I go on FARK and sure enough, with no spoiler warning, there's a thread title:

"Amber wins survivor"

No. Damn. Spoiler. Warning.

Guys, I am SO PISSED ! What a stupid website ! And to booth, a thread must be approved by a Mod before being displayed, meaning that a Mod on Fark saw the thread title and thought "Fine, I'll approve it and post it". Incredible.

Furthermore, the thread was up WAY before the west coast viewers saw the end and the reveal of the winner.

Sure, I'm still going to watch it tomorrow, but you know how it is... until Jeff reads the ballots, you're rooting, hoping, dreading the outcome. Fark has decided to remove that from me.

WEEKS of suspense, build-up, totally bashed for me. When I told my wife that, she was genuinely sad for me. Of course, I didn't tell her who won.

God I hate Fark.

That was a very weak ending to the show.

The whole Rob and Am-buh (cracked me up when you wrote it like that!) couple thing has been hanging out there most of the show. I can't believe that nobody split them up either. It's shocking how guileless the other contestants proved to be! They just coasted to the end.

Especially lame was how the show wasted time during the second hour about whether Rob would pick Jenna or Amber to be with him in the final two, as if there was any doubt?

Here's hoping that ol' Rupert get's the other million. ;)

Just curious...do you have any problem with the thread title I chose? I didn't think to put the word "Spoiler" in it...but I didn't give anything away, either. I suppose I shall add it to the title. Sorry if I caused anyone any strife. Temporary lapse in judgment on my part! :heh:

For me its a tossup between Rupert and Rudi. Rudi may not have lasted very long this time, but he did make it to the final three in the first one, and was ultimately snaked by Richard because he knew Rudi would have beat him. Plus he was a navy seal.

Still debating...

Sure, it's a good thing you added SPOILER, but it wasn't after you that I spilled my ire. At least, your thread's subject was obvious, and the spoiler wasn't in the title, like they did on Fark.

All is well my good man !

frank the dm: survivor with manslaughter...i do beleive the movie is called "series seven" and well worth a rental.

whisperfoot: richard didnt snake rudy. richard stepped down in the final immunity challenge, sure that kelly would be dumb enough to take him to the finals. she was afraid she lose to gruff but loveable rudy, so she took the supposed hated richard to the finals. this was back when the jury consisted of people playing a game and not a bunch of whiny spoiled attention hogs and richard won because he deserved it.

this season: rob and ambuh played the other 16 for total fools. i do acknowledge that she assisted a little more than riding his coat-tails ,but you HAVE to give it to him for putting himself on the line. Although Lex is a whiny wuss, it surprised me that Tom and Alicia held grudges against Rob.

But proving that he's always thinking, how great was it that Rob proposed BEFORE knowing who won the million. If he wouldve done it after, he wouldve gotten the gold-digger label.

Loved Shii-ann and Rich telling Lex he's a sore-loser moron hypocrite.

I won't be able to watch Thursday and see America give Rupert a million dollars for being a big and stupid guy that makes them feel better about themselves.

CBS knows that anyone who looks at the popularity polls on cbs.com can see that Rupert is 20 pts ahead of EVERYONE ELSE. So they couldve just said "we're giving 1 million to Rupert on thursday" and been done with it.
TACKY.

time for Amazing Race :-D

D'oh! I remember now. He was snaked, but not by Richard.

And I'm still not sure quite where I stand with Lex. I mean, he makes a valid point about how he took care of Amber for Rob out of friendship and was eliminated despite that. Regardless, he had himself voted out people he was friends with and, in my humble opinion, played the game poorly anyway. while I was pulling for the Mogo Mogo tribe from the beginning, I think that they suffered by cutting too many of their good competitors before the merge. I feel they would have been far stronger going into the merge with Richard or Colby. Voting out Jeri instead of Amber was a clearly suicidal act of utter stupidity.

All in all, my disappointment with this season stems from the fact that all of these experienced all-star players literally handed the game to Rob and Amber, who were clearly the strongest alliance from the beginning. Mogo Mogo should have eliminated Amber. Rupert, Jenna, and Tom should have voted out Rob when they had the chance. Each of them just allowed themselves to be blindsided when it was so obvious how things were going to turn out. Jenna should have stuck with Rupert rather than turning traitor at the end. Her entire gamble was dependant upon her winning the next immunity, and anyone could tell that was a long shot at best.

*Sigh*

Maybe next season we'll get a group of real players instead of the experienced but stupid (educated stupid??) ones we got this time.
