Here's my CONSIDER list:

2. d20 Modern OR Spycraft (only if the Gatchaman d20 campaign is a go)

Here's my "if I get paid for my RPG work so that RPGs become a business expense" list:
1. Nobilis
2. DC Heroes RPG (for Nostalgia sake)
3. City of the Spider Queen (I'm a sucker for adventures)

Lately I've begun to think (after spending several hundred euros on D&D products, mind you ;)) that all those supplements don't add that much to the enjoyment of the game. The three core books are just fine for running a campaign. The supplements may just cause more trouble than they're worth...having said that, I'm still going to buy supplements. After all, this is my hobby and I enjoy reading the books, even if I didn't use them.

I agree with everything you said - especially the last part, although I have moved supplements down a notch on my priority list as I've decided that lately I enjoy a new game or setting more than a supplement for one that I already have.

The main product that I'm waiting for is d20 Modern. I'll most likely also buy BoVD, Tome of Horrors and Gentleman's Agreement when they come out and Shadowforce Archer sometime before the end of the year.

I generally drop about $100 on games per month, so that leaves me with a couple some flexibilty for whatever strike my fancy at the moment. Things that I've been meaning to pick up for a while include:

Feng Shui, it's GM's screen, and the supplement (can't remember the name) that's a compilation of scenarios, so that I always have something fun to run as a one-shot.

Rokugan, Creatures of Rokugan and some of the supplements if I like the setting book enough.

any Spycraft/Shadowfore Archer supplements

Call of Cthulhu d20

more Star Wars supplements, especially if it starts to look like I might be a game going on the side of my regular D&D campaign.

more Forgotten Realms supplements. I don't think that I'm likely to ever run a FR campaign again but what I've seen of the 3e product line is good enough that I'd like to check the rest out.

Dragon and Dungeon/Polyhedron of course, since I have subscriptions. Lately Poly is my favorite of these.

Possibly more adventure modules, depending on which way my campaign turns and whether or not any of them look like they'd fit well and be entertaining enough.

Oh yeah, and I'm never been much of a supers fan but lately I'm starting to think about maybe getting Mutants & Masterminds when it comes out for two reasons:

1) Green Ronin just earned my respect big time with Book of the Righteous

2) I'm kind of glad that they decided to go the OGL route rather than full d20. I feel like a game that's good enough to stand on its own is hurt a bit by having to refer to the PHB for character generation/advancement rules. Particularly, I felt that Spycraft deserved better.

I'm getting that new Nirvana cd ...

Well, as long as we're getting off topic, any Wilco or Built to Spill albums that I don't already have, Jurassic 5, the latest reissues of The Who's My Generation and Live at Leeds, and probably the new Beck and Elvis Costello discs too.

RPG things I'm gonna be buying:

All WotC D&D releases
All Kingdoms of Kalamar releases
Celtic Age by Avalanche Press
Quirks and Nuances by Guildhouse Games
Gary Gygax's World Builder by Troll Lord Games
Cardboard Heroes: Castle by Steve Jackson Games
Munchkin d20 Monster Manual by Steve Jackson Games
City Guide 1: Everydat Life by Dark Quest

Other things:
New green dice from Chessex (especially Jade Scarab)
Battle of the Bands expansion by Third World Games (it's a non-collectible card game)
Endura/Capsule Intro Pack by Rook Steel Storage (deck boxes)
The Simpsons TCG
Siege expansion for Warlord CCG
Risk: Lord of the Rings

If there's anything else cool coming out then I'll have to impulse buy it, but this is all I'm aware of on the radar screen.

Dragon Magazine
Dungeon Magazine
Book of vile darkness
Novel: the 1000 orcs by RA Salvatore
DVD: spider man
DVD: band of brothers
DVD: lord of the rings:fellowship, extended
DVD: attack of clones
Sword and Socery: prisners of maze adventures
I also want to see what Dwarven forge comes out with for the master maze stuff.
Food, if I have any money left :D

I almost picked up Hallowfaust earlier this week.

But now, based on the "Usefulness of Hallowfaust" thread, that has jumped to the top of my "must buy" pile.

I, too am a sucker for adventures, so "City of the Spider Queen" can't be far behind....

Glad we could convince you Baernadd. Now the corruptionerhm conversion..darn I mean the FUN can begin! ;)
