What Are You Listening To? - Reprise

Been jamming to the new Coheed and Cambria album, Vaxis Act III: The Father of Make Believe.

Act II was very synth-poppy; this one sounds a lot more like their earliest couple of albums to me. I like 'em both. But I'm a sucker for Coheed.

I am nowhere near a fan, but I do like the song The Suffering

Been listening to a lot of funk lately, and specifically Betty Davis's small but incredibly impressive catalogue. Woman was ahead of her time, and deserved a lot more fame and glory than she got!

Also, if you like Kim Carnes' voice, new singer of Linkin' Park Emily Armstrong rips.
I keep waking up with this song in my head. Although I actually like some of her previous band's work even more (Dead Sara)

Another album I've had on rotation today. I started this playlist on the second track, but the video link should allow you to listen to all 14 tracks. If you've played through all your mid-60's pop/bubblegum rock albums and are looking for something similar, this one might be right down your alley. It has a hint of the Monkees and Odyssey & Oracle to it and also an amazing cover of a Yardbird's classic.
