What are you wearing to the ENnies?

Gah! Somebody give me some good advice on this, since I won the auction to impersonate Parent's Basement Games, and I don't have a clue what to where!

If I were going I would probably do khaki pants with a button up shirt, dress socks and my leather shoes. Basically my work attire. If I were repping a publisher, I would quite seriously consider the button up shirt with a tie. Though I might consider the full suit just to get more wear out of it. :)

But I'm not going so it is kind of moot. :p

When in doubt, go for basic black. If possible, a shirt that has buttons would be nice. Pants that aren't jeans are swell. Kilts are nice in this weather. What's most important is that everyone have fun. If you're not comfortable, then you probably won't have fun. If you're not into ties, don't go out and buy one for the occasion.

I'm never going to insist upon tuxedos, but I think that everyone should try and make a little effort to dress to impress.

Does that help at all?

Since I'll be running the video, I don't know if I count as "staff" or what. Left to my own devices, I'd probably wind up in jeans and a three button shirt.

Is that too casual?

Well, if you could make them black jeans it would be nicer, but honestly, since you're doing me such a huge favour, I wouldn't be offended. I'm used to Crew wearing all black, and use that as my default uniform, but wear what you can work in, and what you like.

Oh I can dress up a bit, no problem. I'm used to wearing a button down shirt and tie for work most of the time so I can do at least "business casual".

I just didn't want to be the only one (besides TB of course) who's all dressed up. But I suppose I need something that I wouldn't be embarassed to wear in a strip club too. ;)

So I'll pack my thong for good measure.

Thanks! Ah, my old favorite. I have so many black dress clothes, it would shock the world. I insist that my band where all black, and we play a lot of upper crust gigs, so the boys have to look nice. And I have lots of ties; dress code at work insists on it.

Well, I don't look like David Hasselhoff. ;) My students tell me I look more like Stone Cold Steve Austin.
And with you putting my name under your screen name, who can tell anymore???

And don't forget the big, curly, blond wig !

Sorry, it's not time for the Spring Musical, so I won't be doing hair and make-up! :p
