What Bit Of Fan Fic/Edit/Theory Made a Thing Better or even GREAT For You?

My other favorite fan theory is that in The Matrix, the so-called "real world" was actually just another part of the Matrix, which would explain why Neo still had superpowers outside of the Matrix, why the explanation of the Matrix's purpose was nonsensical, why dying in the Matrix could affect you in the 'real' world.
Those of you who also like this idea, what do you think of the idea that the REAL real world is either

A. Not even a world of humans

OR

B. Actually the world of Total Recall

Or hear me out, are the humans inside the Matrix and "real world" even humans, or are they other machines who think they are humans? I mean quoting from the Animatrix short. "They wouldn't know the difference, to them all reality is virtual".

There are a few inconsistencies, in particular I believe Mason mentions being former SAS whereas Bond is former Royal Navy, but it's close enough.
Importantly, he says that after Ed Harris addresses him as "sailor"...so that is pretty clearly the screenwriter lampshading the Bond connection. In fact, I saw a crazed conspiracy video once that connected Harris character to the incident where Connery Bond faked his death in Southeast Asia, because the timelines do fit for the Cietnam vet angle.

I think the West End Games d6 Star Wars TTRPG mentioned this, and I never got into extended universe (which to me is everything but the films themselves - save perhaps for a couple of recent shows), so not sure if it ever explicitly came up elsewhere, but I think of the Empire as following an "anti-alien" agenda that is "pro-human" and helps in their divisive tactics to better rule the galaxy and keep people down. This explains why the Empire is all human and the rebellion has a mix of folks working in solidarity.
Yeah, it's super explicit everywhere except the movies.

I’m not sure if this counts but it changed my perception on the original Star Wars trilogy:

1. The original Star Wars trilogy is just a story about two robots.

This next one doesn’t work anymore. It only worked when yoda’s background was a mystery. I was super disappointed when they made yoda his own species.

2. Yoda isn’t some strange alien. He’s just a really, really old guy. The force extends your life and that’s just what you look like when you’re 800 years old.
