What d20 projects would you like to see?

For the love of god, PLEASE do not even TRY to mutilate Shadowrun by turning it into D20.

I love D20. But good for Shadowrun it is not.

I would like to see something along the lines of Ars Magica D20 or Mage D20... not that I don't like either game as is (I own and like both), but I'd love to see a good free-form magic system for D20... Chaos Magic isn't that hot, IMHO.

Weird. I'd have guessed that Shadowrun was much more easily ported into d20 than Mage or Ars Magica. Then again, I don't own either of those any more. I do own Shadowrun 3rd edition, though. I don't see what's so impossible about it being d20.

I was just reading Green Ronin's M&M preview- and they dropped hit points for a stun & lethal damage system that has a similarity to Shadowrun.

With a few more tweaks- it would work fine.

They also drop levels, right? Or did they say anything about that on the preview?

How much would I love to see d20 Dune? I would love to, love to, love to see that setting as d20.

What's that? it got right the way through production and then there was a licensing issue so it got pulled?

Auuuuuuuugggggghhhhhh

I think there are still levels- both example characters have a "power level" 15.

However, I don't see much difference in levels and spending xp-equivilant ideas to buy skills and abilities.

COULD you make a Shadowrun D20? Yes.

Could you do it in such a way it still felt like Shadowrun, without basicly completely redesigning the mechanics, to the point that making it D20 was basicly a worthless move? No, not in my opinion. They are just too... different.

What's so different about them? The settings are very similar: D&D even has the same races already built in.

The system never struck me as anything spectacular or unique. I think any system could handle it just fine. Combat needs to be more deadly, but d20 Call of Cthulhu already shows us how to handle that nicely enough.

Thieves World, the city of Sanctuary. They are finally getting new books on it written and from the buzz I'm hearing it's been fairly populiar. THe old RPG stuff was very well recieved (for the few of us who've seen it) and I really think it would fit well into d20.

That would be so great.

Some other ideas I'd like to see published:

Conan
Late Rennaissance fantasy (with magic, of course)
Dinotopia
"The Fantastic World of Anna Nicole Smith"
