What dead game would you resurrect?

It's been since 2010. How long before they lose the trademark? As I understand it (which could be wrong) you have to actively upkeep a trademark. It doesn't have the same life+ protection as copyright. Or is it considered actively kept up so long as they sell legacy GW content?
DMsGuild counts for trademark, they have successfully defended Star Fromtiers twice now based on thst counting as being in publication legally.

It's super-weird that we haven't seen Gamma World in the 5E era.
Is it? Look, I'm not going to besmirch the game as I've got a lot of fun memories playing it, remind me tell you about Fumbles the mutant scorpion sometime, but I don't know how much it really resonates with the young, hip kids these days. How about Star Frontiers while we're at it?

Well, since TMNT is coming back….

How about the real Companion for the B/X books, along with reprints of B/X? You still cannot get Moldvay Basic in POD. I’ve read that the original intent for Companion was optional rules for the DM.

I saw it mentioned up thread, but 4e with Nentir Vale. I will take the opposite opinion of the post on which version to resurrect, though, and have it revived as Essentials only, but expanded to include Essentials versions of all the other classes. I’d also get rid of the Slayer and just give the Knight more versatility. Later, I’d like re-release of the original, but as an advanced option.

I hear ya. Just interesting to note the three non-D&D games they actively sell on the Guild and keep in trademark: Boot Hill, Gamma World and Star Fromtiers.

Maybe I missed the reference earlier, but what happened to Top Secret?

Boot Hill was fine. But to me, the holy trinity of non-licensed TSR games* (other than D&D) was always Star Frontiers (with Knight Hawk Expansion), Gamma World, and Top Secret.

AFAIK, only Gamma World received further love. SF and TS remained forever stuck with their '80s versions.

*Marvel FASERIP! So good.

Jayson Elliott's TSR(2) (now Solarian) got Merle Rasmussen to design a whole new version of Top Secret a few years ago, right?
