just wanting to see the most popular book and what ppl own

Well, I own so many that I was having a hard time remembering just exactly what was in my collection. So I made up a list using Excel. I don't have it with me (working today) but I've got somewhere around 200 adventures and close to 400 other books (rules, settings, etc.) for 3.0 and 3.5. I haven't even counted the pdf books--that's a project for a rainy day.

However, I own 3 copies of the 3.0 PHB and one of the 3.5 PHb, so I guess that is *my* most popular book.

MM 3.5
MM II
MM III

Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil

I have all of the WOTC books for both 3.0 and 3.5 that are in print. Even bought the Special Edition PHB (DORK  ). I also have a smattering of third party that I enjoy. Malhavoc, Green Ronin, Kenzer & CO. are the third party I tend to go with. subscriptions with Dungeon and Dragon as well. The Paizo Shackled City Hardback. And a large collection of older books. Things I keep around for ideas. But there's so much more I want :heh: .

I also own much too many books (they have long outgrown my bookcases) to type them down. It doesn't really mean that I love all of them, either. The list also contains Deities & Demigods, the ELH and the Book of Exalted Deeds, and these among others don't really rank that high in my regard, to put it politely ;). Therefore, a list wouldn't really help with picking the most favourite books :D.

Only listing D&D books as the topic says, but the other books I have are d20 and I don't have many of them anyway.

Core Rulebooks 3.0
Core Rulebooks 3.5
All five "splatbooks" (S&F, T&B, etc.)
Monster Manual II
Fiend Folio
Savage Species
Ghostwalk
Psionics Handbook
Expanded Psionics Handbook
Manual of the Planes
Book of Vile Darkness
Epic Level Handbook (got this one real cheap off a pricing error on buy.com)
Draconomicon
Races of Stone
Arms & Equipment Guide
Stronghold Builder's Guide
Book of Exalted Deeds
Complete Warrior
Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting
Magic of Faerun
Monsters of Faerun
Races of Faerun
Faiths & Pantheons
Eberron Campaign Setting
Sharn: City of Towers

Yeah, no 3rd party material in there. In fact, the only 3rd party books I own overall are Arcana Unearthed and Spycraft, neither of which I use much. By the time I had already started considering it my interest in playing had already started diminishing.

If I were still playing, I'd likely buy Five Nations, Races of Eberron, and Complete Adventurer.

Too many - ebay is the solution. Over the next few months I'm stripping down to just the core books and the class books.

Time to be ruthless - I don't have the space for anything else.

My D&D stuff, all versions, and including hackmaster, occupy an volume 48"x64"X12". Dunno how many, and I'm not going to list them. And compared to some people here, I don't own jack squat.

Looks like 309 for all of 3rd edition, 88 from WotC, 502 D&D books across all editions. Plus a lot of magazines and things. Enough to have bought a nice car and possibly weighing as much as one.

Would you like me to list them? ;)
