I really don't like the direction Dungeon Magazine is going in, with supscriber only adventures and poly added onto it. I would like to know what people would like to see in a DnD/ D20 adventure magazine. This is how I would do it:
1. Have one low level, a couple of mid level, and a high level adventure in each issue. You can have the low level adventure be the big adventure on month, then have the high level adventure be the big one next issue, rotate.
2. I like the "maps of mystery" and "crictical threats", keep those.
3. Have the adventures be in black and white, ads in color, keep costs down, as long as the maps/ fonts are easy to read I don't think that would be a problem.
4. Adventures for other games like Star Wars, spycraft, ect. would appear on occasion.
5. Lastly and most important, keep it an adventure magazine. Thats what its being promoted as, keep the people that buy the magazine in the first place happy. Also no "subsciber only content". You get the same issue if you buy it at your FLGS or subscribe.
