Hey everyone.
Just curious as to what you all think.
I appreciate:
1) The time and effort the DMs I have gamed with put into developing the campaign setting, the sessions.
2) Their willingness to invite us into their living space for hours on end.
3) Their enthusiasm for the campaign.
4) Their willingness to weave together sometimes disparate and competing needs of players.
5) Their willingness to ask for feedback and to let me call them up to talk about things.
6) That they are also friends of mine, who I can go hiking, fishing, or drinking with, or help them move , for extra xp and die bumps, of course
.
7) That they, with their hard work and initiative provide me the chance to play D&D.
8) Their interest in character development and motivation that helps them develop and progress the campaign.
9) Their genuine pangs of sorrow when a PC dies (I hate it when it happens when I DM, but c'est la vie).
10) The really great mood music.
