What do you use as the "ultimate" evil?

Who would of thought the idea of a democracy in a feudal kingdom would be the villian?
Well, duh! Princessess are usually good, while Senators are typically all corrupt.

This is a fantasy game focused on individuals with special powers, after all. It's focused on people who are demonstrably better than other people, some of whom are chosen by the Gods themselves, who can be shown to exist without a shadow of doubt.

Very small leap from there to justified aristocracy.

Tharizdun

He is the ultimate big baddy in my campaign, and always has been.

He ate my last campaign multiverse when he was awoken by the actions of a pc.

I've been planning to use Pandorym from Elder Evils as the BBEG x BBEG x BBEG ... in my next big FR campaign. I mean, a creature that can devour an entire pantheon is fairly evil even by D&D standards.

If I ever run a Greyhawk game I would definitely use Tharizdun.
