What Do You Want to See in the New John Carter Roleplaying Game?

How would folks feel about sections of Barsoom mapped out as sandbox hex crawls? It wouldn't be the whole setting, obviously, but certain areas would be hex maps full of encounters and plot seeds. Both a nod to the old school nature of John Carter, and something to feed GM's imaginations.
