Telekinesis said:Combat Maneuver: Alternatively, once per round, you can use telekinesis to perform a bull rush, disarm, grapple (including pin), or trip. Resolve these attempts as normal, except that they don't provoke attacks of opportunity, you use your caster level in place of your base attack bonus (for disarm and grapple), you use your Intelligence modifier (if a wizard) or Charisma modifier (if a sorcerer) in place of your Strength or Dexterity modifier, and a failed attempt doesn't allow a reactive attempt by the target (such as for disarm or trip). No save is allowed against these attempts, but spell resistance applies normally. This version of the spell can last 1 round per caster level, but it ends if you cease concentration.
Travel Domain said:Granted Powers: For a total time per day of 1 round per cleric level you possess, you can act normally regardless of magical effects that impede movement as if you were affected by the spell freedom of movement. This effect occurs automatically as soon as it applies, lasts until it runs out or is no longer needed, and can operate multiple times per day (up to the total daily limit of rounds).
Freedom of Movement said:This spell enables you or a creature you touch to move and attack normally for the duration of the spell, even under the influence of magic that usually impedes movement, such as paralysis, solid fog, slow, and web. The subject automatically succeeds on any grapple check made to resist a grapple attempt, as well as on grapple checks or Escape Artist checks made to escape a grapple or a pin.
Spider said:Does the Travel Domain only grant the "magic that usually impedes movement," part of Freedom of Movement? Or does it act like the spell with regards to resisting all grapple attempts?

Grappled by a spell? Travel domain granted power does help.
Evard's Black Tentacles, Bigby's various Hands, Telekinesis, Entangle, Briar Web (Complete Divine), Bands of Steel (Compete Arcane), Hold Person, Hold Monster, Slow -- these are just a few of the magical effects negated by the Travel domain granted power.
That's for freedom of movement, not the Travel domain power. The travel domain power does not grant the ability to resist grapples, only to overcome the magical effects that specifically impede movement.sdt said:I disagree, the SRD states: "The subject automatically succeeds on any grapple check made to resist a grapple attempt..." I don't believe this is exclusive to resisting magic effects.
