What I Did at Work Today.

I was the lucky officer that got to work this "damage to property" call. :)
Dire Goat Rampage

This type of thing happens more than you might think. We receive several calls a month about herd animals that have escaped from the stockyards or someone's farm.

Usually there is no damage or injury, just a bunch of public safety types running around looking silly chasing a cow or goat.

I have to say, it is more fun than dealing with some of my other customers. ;)

Lol. I can just here it now...

Boy, put your hands up and step away from the goat.

Usually followed by the suspect saying: "Officer, I swear I was just helping that goat get over the fence" ;)

I didn't realize a goat could smash a window like that. It doesn't look that big.

Goat's head is bigger than a brick, and just about as hard. Except for the falling glass, goat probably hardly even noticed it.

It does look a little small for a 200-lb creature, though. Looks about the size of our Suffolk ewes, and they were 130 or so. The rams were alot bigger.
