D&D 5E What (if anything) do you find "wrong" with 5E?

If they nova, absolutely. If the group knows that it needs to conserve resources for the 6-8 encounters, though, you won't see them consistently hit that much higher than their level.
when they work together and can spread the at will/encounter/daily spread of resource expending amoung them they can nova in half the encounters and still fall back on at wills... if they do it right and save enough on early encounters they can have MULTI casters nova in the final 2 fights of the day.

I know I've said this already, but I want to mention the Index again for emphasis.

It may seem like a small thing, but it isn't. Knowing where the find information and intuitive placement of information is important (even outside of rpg books). Maybe I'm just getting older, but my perception is that a lot of newer books (both rpg and otherwise) do not effectively use (or sometimes don't use at all) basic components of writing a book: such as an index, glossary, or table of contents.

5E indeces could be greatly improved -especially the PHB and especially with newer books with tweaked information.

Additionally, a pdf file to give a brief rundown of changes from PHB 5E to PHB 5.5 would be helpful.

Stuff like this is why you spend a little gold on a horse and carriage (or wagon). You can sleep and travel at the same time.

...take security shifts with some people driving and keeping watch. It can also be kinda fun to improve upon the wagon as higher levels and better materials become available.

That reminds me another thing wrong: Legendary Resistance.

I can't piledriver a dragon through a folding table because pro-wrestling 'isn't D&D', but that same dragon can no-sell me because he's the writers' favorite? BS.

You voted in a different thread, that you don't own 5e dnd books and won't buy 5.5e.
So did you actually play it or is it just arm chair game criticism?

I don't know, since it was allowed to be played in AL for a season, I ran into a lot of people who had positive things to say about it.

It was just a slightly overpowered version of the ranger. Maybe not overpowered compared to full casters, but someway out of whack compared to everyone else. It still left me with the feeling of not being a complete package but some abilities that fit randomly thrown together.
I find the alternate class features of tasha more fitting and think the newer subclasses do a good job of giving a good feel.
