Got delivery this morning of a new Swedish rpg that probably takes the gold medal for longest time between the idea was concieved and advertised as a coming game, and it actually was made and delivered; took 38 years...
During that time the original company closed down, they thought all material for it was lost, an old printed out backup surfaced, some licens deals had to happen.... The material had appearently changed a lot during these years.
The game is called "Partisan" , or technically "Expert Partisan" due to the rules engine used, and deals with a Soviet and East German invasion of Sweden in the early 1980s due to the events of the incident called "Whiskey on the Rocks" in the West (in Sweden it was know as U-137).

The player characters are ordinary people involved in the resistance fight in an occupied Sweden. They will help delivering messages, spy on the occupying forces, help find collaborators etc. Actual fighting should be avoided.
I was one of the proofreaders for it. Will have to check it out more thoroughly after work.
