What is the best low magic setting for d+d?

Well I don't know about LOW magic but certainly you won't see 5 level commoners wielding vorpal enchanted pitchforks in the Scarred Lands.

But you might like Kingdoms of Kalamar better. Still give us a try. We do our best to give heroes a chance to die with glory. At least before the Slitheren/Ratmen eat them.

Tack on another vote for Scarred Lands and for good ideas you should check out scarntalk over on yahoogroups. Kinda quiet right now, but things get rolling about once a month. We also have a few developers chime in every now and then. the URL:

Check us out, in the past emails you can find notes for converting a lot of material to the Scarred Lands etc and everyone is very helpful.
