What is the gold for a 100th level Epic guy?

Exactly what does a 100th level PC need with any kind of money? If there is something he needs he could easily take it. If there is some moral objection, Im sure that over the span of 100 levels the PC must have done someone a favor. Heck the unarmed wizard could kill the shopkeeper and his family in a full round. I should stop thinking about this lest I fry a circuit.

Why would a 100th level characters care about gold pieces anymore?
He wouldn't really. But I am converting a module and I need some type of rational starting point for the obsurdity of buying/making gear.

It's about 277 million gp. The ELH follows a fairly flat (quadratic, in this case) wealth progreession in epic levels.

Thanks for the math, I'm not so good at the higher math, good thing for ENworld, I'll use this figure of 277,000,000, maybe even drop it to 250,000,000 just so things don't get to nutty.

Just remeber the golden rule, there are three kinds of people in the world, those who understand math, and those that don't ;)

Forgive the potentially noob question, but what is the module and what is the challenge? I cant seem to fathom what would challenge a 40th level PC let alone a 100th level PC.

I don't usually like wacky comments in my threads, not my style, but this is a wacky post and a even wackyer post, so I really am enjoying the nuty comments, keep them coming :)

That being said, thank you for the math and creature suggestions, nice when I can get useful information as well.

UPDATE, dude, those creatures are completely off the wall and totally funny. Cracked me up to no end. If I never get done with this project, at least I can laugh at the obsurdity :D

100th level characters don't trade in coin. It's more like: "I'll swap you the kingdom of Batvaria for that +20 Epic sword." or "Does anyone have change for a +5 spork?"
