What is the gold for a 100th level Epic guy?

This thread is silly. SILLY!

IS there a point to making a 100th level character, other than as an exercise in Excel?

You're already more powerful than most gods at that point.

Gods still have powers you won't, and I never said it wasn't silly :p

Okay, tell me if I am wrong, the bonuses for any epic character from level 21 to level 100 would be:

+45 on saves

+ 45 on attack rolls

28 bonus feats and

I get +40 for attacks and saves, and 27 bonus epic feats.

It is for converting the games only 100th level module and you could really only be epic in four classes since you would have to be 21st level to be considered epic in the class :p
Oh, only four? Just a Cleric 20/Barbarian 20/Fighter 20/Frenzied Berserker 20, right?

;)

Forgive the potentially noob question, but what is the module and what is the challenge? I cant seem to fathom what would challenge a 40th level PC let alone a 100th level PC.

Converting Throne of Bloodstone, and keeping it at 100th level, that's a recipe for disaster.
Note that the module itself even says "for 18th to 100th level PC's". Try and keep that level range in a 3e game! It was meant to be a high level, high power module, but 100th level nowadays is madness (note that in 2e, the limit of mortal progression was 30th level).

The power scale between 1e and 3e regarding above 20th level is so different that this is trouble brewing. With 1e, all you essentially got above 20th level was just more HP per level, so a party of 100th level 3e PC could defeat entire pantheons and conquer worlds, while a 1e party of 100th level PC's was not that much stronger than 20th or 25th level, except for being able to take more hits.

As for how much gold, do the words "El Dorado" ring a bell?

Well, I never said I, I mean the idea ;) , was sane. I most likely will give up if I can't get help, but not until after I make up a 100th level party and perhaps convert an encounter or two. there are some limitation on the PCs, but nothing like the comparable 1.0 character. Oh well, I'll see what I get.

Okay, I get +40 for attacks and saves now too, but I still get 28 epic bonus feats. 7 for every 20 levels, 80 epic levels = 28 feats? Right?

Why would a 100th level characters care about gold pieces anymore?
What else is he going to care about?

Maybe he wants to make a house out of platinum pieces. Or a fortress out of copper.
