What is True20?

It sounds similar to the Injury variant from Unearthed Arcana

Right, and that was based (with permission) on the Mutants & Masterminds system. One of the few instances in which WotC used the Open Game License to adpat content from another publisher.

Interesting...

It sounds like a good system. I'm not really into the superhero genre, and while Blue Rose sounds more up my alley, the setting sounds a little off from my preferred flavor of fantasy. Still, if I find myself with a few extra bucks, who knows.

A pocket guide similar to Mongoose's would be nice...

Has Green Ronin indicated whether Thieves' World will be using True20 or not?

It is a no, it was one of my question on the bnook I actually got answered. THey aren't releaseing much until the previews that hopefully arrive sometime this month.

Yeah but at $16 for the PDF it isn't going to kill me to just disregard the 40 pages that are setting info. I'm really glad they made it very easy to separate mechanics from setting.

maybe next year or so, I'm trying to get them to do Freeport True20
Dual-statted, please. I'm really excited about Freeport Revised, with the setting bumped forward five years. (Preferably with a module surrounding the succession issue finally being decided ... with cutlasses!)

The more I read about Blue Rose the more interested I become, rather the opposite of my reaction to Castles & Crusades. The PDF is my most likely way to go.
