Currently in an online group, so got a whole community and 8 characters of my own.

ECL 7
Phrenic Illumian Telepath

ECL 8
Bozak Gladiator (Fighter variant I designed and DM allowed)

ECL 9
Goliath Martial Wilderness Rogue/Lion Totem Wolf Totem Whirling Frenzy Barbarian
Dwarf Fighter/Cleric/Church Inquisitor
Fire Hobgoblin Warblade/Fighter
Whisper Gnome Martial Rogue/Swordsage

ECL 10
Human Evoker/Stormcaster

ECL 11
Human Druid/Lion of Talisid with Vow of Poverty

The reason for the cluster around 9 is that I try and keep them all caught up, so new ones see more use, older start to take a backseat. Of those, the level 10 and 11 are my first and third characters for the group. My poor goliath (2nd character) is still at level 9, cause no DM wants him in their dungeons. (-_-)

Human Fighter 5 in an Aereth campaign. My players in my Eberron game are 7th (assuming I don't pull-off a TPK on Sunday, which seems likely--they had two guys die last session and we had to break).

Well, you've given level 9 a real bump with those characters! For some reason, level 9 stands out as a level not many are currently playing. :)

My two main characters started in 1E in '95, were converted to 2E in '98 and again to 3.5 in '05 (I skipped 3.0 altogether) are currently:

Human LE Fighter 7/Blackguard 5
Human LE Wizard 13/Loremaster 1

I sometimes go for a year or more between games, so for 13 year old characters, the're far less than they could be if I had more time to play.

Not really. I could have ten level 9 characters, and I'd still only get one vote point on it. :)
