What Movie Has Inspired the Most PC's in Your Game?

Hawk the Slayer!!! Nothing like a one handed crossbowman (!?!?), a Elf who can constantly leap of tents (and apparently the only way he can fire a bow!), and a surly dwarf to name just a few of the characters involved in this very old, geek's dream (back in the early eighties at least).

I guess I have to admit that my elven characters are all somewhat inspired by the Lord of the Rings film, although I started playing some of them before the movies were released.
I dream of someday being able to play an elf PC who's as good at archery as Legolas.
:D

I have a GM who has a lot of NPCs inspired by Tinkerbell. He's obsessed with fairies.

I've seen more characters ripped off of Lord of the Rings than anything else. Especially when it comes to halflings. Only post-Eberron have I seen any halfling PCs in my games that weren't homages at best to LoTR.

Demiurge out.

Hmmm,

I don't think I've ever based a character off of a movie I saw. In fact the only character I've ever based off of someone else was my longest running character, the Nightshadow. And he was based off of Lassiveren the Dark from the Rogues Gallery (as depicted in my avatar). I'm more likely to take a prop of some sort that caught my attention and build a character around it. I really want to play a modern game so I can create a grammaton cleric from Equilibrium. They had the coolest coats.

I'm playing a PC right now based (mostly) on Saumrai Jack. It's not a movie, but it's close.

Before that was a PC somewhat based on my Viking-ish grandfather. Again, not a movie. Sorry, don't watch enough movies I guess.

I have a character based off Mr Depp's role in "From Hell", a police inspector who has disturbing "flashes" of supernatural insight. He's fun, bitter, and more than a little haunted.
