What OTHER game magazines do you read? (besides Dragon or Dungeon)

Knights of the Dinner Table. Yes, it has gamer stuff on top of the comic strip humor. An enjoyable read every month.
I'll second that. I actually let dragon lapse, and kept KoDT. Sure the strip is the main draw, but I find I was enjoying and getting more use out of the non-strip stuff in KoDT than Dragon. (Except for the guy who ranted on and about star wars, I mean, come on!).

Beyond Dragon I don't read any RPG mags. That's not saying I wouldn't read one, but I'd have to find one first.

The only other gaming magazines I read are PCGamer and Computer Gaming World

KotD is my favorite monthly, hands down.

I also get Harbinger, the value is relatively low, but it occasionally has painting tutorials and previews of new miniature ranges that I appreciate - $4.99/mo

"Cry Havoc" is a quarterly from Rackhmam for it's mini games, that has great art, painting tips and great fluff detailing the world of Arklash.

I occasionally read Game Trade, but that is more of a catalog...

Privateer Press' "No Quarter" will be an every other month magazine with both IK and Warmachine content - starting in August I believe.

Other gaming mags: Signs and Portents from Mongoose. KoDT

Non RPG gaming: New Scientist, National Geographic, Fortean Times, Miniature Wargames, White Dwarf - most of those on an irregular basis

Another reader of Knights of the Dinner Table . I've bought the first two issues of Worlds of Cthulhu, which looks pretty useful, probably would get The Black Seal if it was available regularly here.

Only the two Ds for me at present. The most recent subscription I had that even came close was Wizard, but really the only gaming there was computer and console games, and I was just getting it for comic book stuff. Kind of keeping in touch with my old hobby.

Thanks to the mentions here I am tempted by Knights of the Dinner Table now. I'll have to check it out.

Hi-

KotD is the best comic book around, you will find many situations that will remind you of your own gaming group. Poor BA, he comes up with some great dungeons only to be thwarted by his players doing the most insane stunts and going off the adventure path.

Another great D&D like comi is Nordwick, the henchman that is smarter then the people he works for. A very good read.

I too miss the old White Dwarf, some great materiel in each of those 100 or so first issues before it morphed into a mini's magazine.

Lastly, so what is out there that is somewhat like both Dungeon and Dragon magazine?

Heck, anyone remember the Scroll, Morningstar Rising, The Gamer's Connection or some of the other smaller mags? Most of those functions have been replaced by places just like this.

I wrote an article called "Arcane Wizardry" for The Scroll when I was thirteen, and I used to talk to the guy who published it on the phone fairly regularly back then. I can't remember his name, or which issue my article came out in, but I still have a complete run of The Scroll. ;)

Edit: ...and to answer the OP's question: currently, I don't read any gaming mags apart from Dragon and Dungeon -- they pretty much suit my needs.

Back in the day, I used to read The Unspeakable Oath and White Dwarf fairly regularly, plus The Scroll, and I've sampled a few others (like EN World Gamer). These days, if there are RPG-focused magazines apart from Dungeon and Dragon, they're not on my radar.
