What OTHER game magazines do you read? (besides Dragon or Dungeon)

Aside from Dungeon, Dragon and White Dwarf (and the GW White Dwarf spin offs) I think the gaming world is low on mags. I would love to find some kind of magazine on the industry or something along those lines.

There's some decent free ones over at RPG Now. Dragon's Cry and Poor Gamer's Almanac have some pretty good stuff in them.

I actually found Poor Gamer's quite boring. It was pretty much wall to wall reviews and shameless plugs. Not something I appreciate in a 'zine.

The main gamers mag that I subscribe to these days is 'Pyramid Online' - I've got most (if not all) of the print issues, and the online mag continues to have pretty good content. Plus, you get stuff weekly.

I occasionally read KoDT - I used to read it more often, but my FLGS stopped carrying it, so I stopped picking it up automatically. Do they have a postal subscription for the comic?

I also liked the first issue of 'The Crusader' - the magazine/house organ that Troll Lords is launching for Castles & Crusades. Although I haven't bought the game yet, I'm a sucker for a new print magazine, and bought the first issue from the company when they came by for Genghis this year. I enjoyed the content, and am looking forward to seeing what the next issue will hold.

Anybody else aside from me miss Shadis? *sigh* those were the days...

I do Pyramid and The Unspeakable Oath when the stars are right. Worlds of Cthulhu looks ok and I used to print out 'Demonground' now and then.

Heck, I have the whole collection of Shadis including the first four issues with the great "The World Behond Hack & Slash" with alternative methods for giving xp to characters.

Shadis and The Unspeakable Oath are both good magazines who unjustly faded away. I know that technically TUO isn't cancelled - but a magazine that puts out an issue once every two or three years has stopped being a magazine and become a series of anthology supplements, IMHO.

I haven't really gotten into any of the new CoC magazines yet, partially because of the high cost.

There are so many magazines that I used to read...

The Strategic Review
The Dragon
Alarums & Excursions
Wyrm's Footnotes
Different Worlds
White Wolf
Dragon

I even read the odd copy of White Dwarf, Dungeon, and a few others.

Nowadays? Nothing.

None of the magazines really speak to me at all.
