Nary a dwarf in sight.
edit: I'm curious how this poll will end up, because I was led to believe that dragonborn and tieflings were teh hatedz.
I'm surprised at the lack of Dwarves, because they're borderline overpowered as melee combatants, particularly tanks.
As Dragonborn, it's interesting to see just HOW popular they are. I believe that what we're seeing here is the DMs and players have very different takes, typically, on what they like. DMs have to consider the setting, and how things fit in, and culture and so on, and so forth, and players just have to consider "What's cool?".
I think this is why DBs are doing great in reality, because, duh, they can BREATH FIRE (or other things), they look Draconic (and that's always been popular), and they have a simple, easily-identifiable stereotype of a personality ("Klingon" - Indeed three of my players separately and un-prompted identified them as such, and only one of those is a Star Trek nerd).
It's notable that Tieflings, which are more popular with DMs than DBs (last I checked), are less popular with players, in practice, presumably due to their lack of obvious "kewl powerz" and I suspect the particular style of horns/tail isn't helping them a whole lot, nor is their potentially emo "torn between good and evil" deal (it's so '90s).
The Warlord died, so starting tomorrow we're adding
Human Cleric (of the Raven Queen)
-O
I have a feeling the Raven Queen is going to emerge as the most popular single god of 4E.
