What PC races are in your 4E group!

What 4E races are played in your campaign?

Right now, I'm running a converted-to-Fourth Edition Pathfinder Rise of the Runelords game with four human PCs, and playing in a new Fourth Edition game with a dragonborn, a dwarf, an eladrin, a human, and a tiefling.

Well, my group just faced Irontooth in KotS so...

Half the party died, and the half that lived was because..well... I said they were out of combat so they didn't need to roll for death anymore and the kobolds, though they stripped them clean, left them alone.

They woke up and went back to Winterhaven and found two new companions.

It was:

  • Dwarf fighter
  • Human cleric
  • Human warlock
  • Elven ranger

Now it is:

  • Dwarven paladin
  • Human cleric
  • Elven rogue
  • Elven ranger
Irontooth is a beast.

Two half-elves (which does not, apparently, equal one elf), one human, and one dragonborn. Several of us have been big fans of multiclassing in the past, so Dilettante is a huge incentive.

My group (sadly, usually only 4 Warlord/Warlock not play much):
Warforged Cleric of Avandra (she is God of travel/Trade)
Gnome Thief (Serves Tiamat), I'm cool with a evil lite character (he hasn't done anything yet too evil, though he has joked about robbing the merchants).
Dragonborn Warlord (serves Bahamut)
Eldarin Warlock
Tiefling Wizard
Bugbear Ranger (says his fur colored like a Panda) Worships the Great Panda.

Since, he was funny describing his character: they are Team Panda!

Or what we’re seeing here is also an edition divide. The new races were certainly an issue for some 4e sceptics. By definition, all the voters in this poll played at least some 4e but that may not be the case for the other poll (where db was the most hated race)
Yes, that was basically the intention. I wanted to see how actual 4E players are interested in the races, and whether some might come out as less compelling then others.

And I also wanted to see how the human fares in 4E. Not as bad as I "feared" first (as I posted, my group currently has no humans, which is very unusual for us!).

(Of course, this is just a message board poll and cannot be used to prove anything ;) )

My gaming group is mainly composed of humans. There's one dragonborn, two dwarves and one orc. Orcs are really good fighters, strong and hearty.

The only reason it seems that everyone hates dragonborn is because the H4ters are loud, rabid posters.

Campaign I run... (didn't allow MM races)

Human - Cleric
Elf - Ranger
Dragonborn - Fighter
Eladrin - Wizard

Campaign I play in...

Minotaur - Warlord (Me)
Human - Rogue
Eladrin - Rogue
Tiefling - Warlock
Dragonborn - Fighter
Human - Paladin
