What Power Source should a Gambler class be?

Gambler
Role: Leader. Fate smiles upon you. No one knows whether it is divine favor or arcane meddling, but somehow you always seem to have all the luck in the world. You are brought to battle as a good luck charm; you can turn the tide of battle simply by arriving on the scene.
Power Source: ???

Features:

Lucky Star
Whenever you or an ally rerolls a die, that creature gains a number of temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier.

...that's all I've got.

I just thought up this idea this morning. Any thoughts you guys?

That's obviously the Luck power source . . .

I think this would depend on what other abilities the class had. That is, you could make an arcane, divine, elemental or shadow gambler, and they would all work but be very different flavor-wise, and potentially mechanically.

Let's say that the Gambler is a swashbuckling huckster who displays no obvious magical talent, but is charmed to an almost supernatural level. The Gambler shares this luck with everyone hir travels with.
With a Gambler in your party, enemy attacks will miss you more often while your attacks will be more likely to strike true.

Sure feels like well ... remember Bilbo, noblemen hobbit bringing luck to his companions... remember him passing his cleverly aquired knowledge of the dragons softspot to the archer who killed smaug... kind of a leaderish and roguish and luck bringer role.

That's a perfect example!

I'm also thinking something along the lines of Setzer from Final Fantasy VI.
That is, you would get a lot of casino themed powers. Perhaps there could be some kind of mechanic where you can 'place bets' on the success of attacks; you raise the stakes but get a bigger payoff if the attack hits.

There is a character from Wheel of Time named Matt who's earlier incarnations were ultra tactician warlords... and while he is able to channel them it was never really his schtick ... he envisions dice rolling in his head its basically the same trick as halflings re-rolling that die ... or even hears them clatter... his luck is ungodly and yes he finds himself forced out of roguish behavior into those literally leaderish roles.

In this case, I think you'd have to decide "What is luck?" in your game world. Where does luck come from? If it is somehow tied into magic, then I guess Arcane. If it's from the gods who favor you, then Divine. If luck is some other force of anti-coincidence, then make a new Luck power source, or keep it simple and say Martial. Maybe something like:

Power Source: Martial. You have practiced with your weapon honing you skills, but many who see you perform suspect that some unseen force of Luck is truly guiding your future.

Eh. That didn't come out quite how I thought, but you get the idea.
