What rocks on Xbox?

Buffy, definitely Buffy. I adore this game...I've probably my fave game on the X-box, aside from Halo.

I really hope this second Buffy gamne is a sequel to this one.

Ok, so I opened the Xbox. Not sure how to connect it to both my VCR (low shelf) and stereo (high shelf) but it's up and running.

Jetset Radio Future is sort of fun... not very far into it.

Buffy: pretty cool... very evocative of the TV show, though a bit clunky in parts. Got up to Spike and he's handing me my behind on a platter.

Sega GT: I have NO idea how to effectively turn at high speed in this game, so I probably won't play it much.

Going to go buy Halo and Baldur's Gate II tonight. My daughter should dig BGII...

Also wanting to know more about Bloody Roar Extreme...

Thanks for all the tips!

I've only played it for the 'cube, but my advice would be to save your money... It's just not that fun.

There has really, thus far, only been one good fighting game for the 'box... Dead or Alive 3. Kakuto Chojin (SP) was horrible, Tao Feng wasn't very good (And I really wanted to like Tao Feng)...

Hmm I got to the thread too late :(

My recommendation is actually the Gamecube. I have all 3 consoles. I go tthe xbox forst cuz its soo sexy. But I haven played it in maybe 8 months. Halo was of course the reason I got it but there jsut arent too many games for it. And what does come out is usually a cross console release for 2 or more other consoles. I will play Star Wars Knight of the Old Republis and Fable when released, but theres nothing too much geting my attention.

I ve had a GC since fall, and love it. It powerful and compact, and Ive been playing Metroid, Eternal Darkness, and now Zelda. All 4 star titles. And the wavebird is the best peripheral ever! Of course there are less titles than the PS2 but theres quality there.

Sinc you have the xbox get Morrowind. Youll be playing till summer- great game.

That would be BG: DA, there's a big difference between the two.

You lie! (do not take that bit seriously)

Capcom vs. SNK 2 is a good fighting game.

All I can say is, when Fable comes out, you'll be glad you bought an X-Box.

Is that knowledge speaking?

Yeah... Except I already have it for the Dreamcast, so I didn't think about it.

Not a bit. :D

Well, a little... I mean, look who's developing it... He's never let me down yet. I guess there is always a first time for everything, but...

You can throw me on the Fable bandwagon. I've been closely following this game since it was called Project Ego with huge anticipation. I've been wanting an RPG from that guy for years (since the original Populous) and now that he is finally trying one....

Another recommendation: SEGA SOCCER SLAM.

The XBOX received a late port from the GC version, but it looks and plays just as well and has some extras, too. I've owned the GC version for nearly a year now, and it's still one of the best multiplayer games on the market. Even if you don't like soccer, it's hard not to enjoy this game.
