Okay I sorta got a choice to make. I am almsot lvl 15, and need to pick a feat. The problem it I qualify for a couple of feats that I want, but am unsure of what to take. So I am looking for Oppinons. The choices are:

Dragon Toughness, Extra Smite, Greater Resliliency, Prone Attack, Lightning Reflexes, Combat Focus

Dragon Toughness I like because it would increase my hitpoints significantly.

Extra Smite would be a nice amount of bonus damage.

Greater Resiliency would give me DR 3/-, which would soften attacks.

Prone Attack: good agaisnt trips

Lightning Reflexes to improve my low reflex save.

Combat Focus would allow me to gain good benifits in 1 on 1 combat. Thsi is what it does.

COMBAT FOCUS [General]
Paying little heed to distractions and other threats, you may focus your attacks on one opponent, leaving yourself open to others.
Prerequisite: Dodge, Improved Initiative, base attack
bonus of +5 or higher.
Benefit: On your action, before making attack rolls for a round, you may choose to focus your efforts against one opponent. Against this opponent, you get a +2 bonus to attack and a +1 dodge bonus to Armour Class. The +1 Armour Class bonus from Dodge must be applied to the same opponent for a total bonus of +2. You have a -2 penalty to Armour Class against all other opponents

How often does a person get tripped? Not often enough for a feat, probably.

Resiliency and Combat Focus sound like a lot of math in just about every combat. That's never good.

+2 to Reflex won't help much.

Who needs extra hit points when you're near 200 as it is?

So I say Extra Smite -- something active you can do more often.

I agree with Noah, except on the Greater Resilency one. You're already doing the math for DR as you have to have DR to get this feat. So, it's not adding any more math, just changing the numbers. I think a good defense is always the way to go. Offense attracts the crowd, Defense wins the game.

Edit: Wow, a DM that actually allowed a PC to get an Armor of Speed. :(

A few day's ago I was dead set on Combat Focus, but a few days ago i started remmbering my other options, and have really been considering extra smite and greater resiliency, any other oppinions?

Eric your right about the HP, already being high.
I just figured the reflex save would be a nice addition since it was low, but by level I guess i'll be agaisnt Uber DC mages anyways, so its kinda silly point.

I used to always forget the DR but that was when it was DR 1/- maybe with 2 or 3 I would rember it more.

Definately go with Extra Smite, especially if you manage to get that extra power on your weapon that I just helped you with, no matter what it costs. :)

Its quickly becoming a choice between the offense of Extra Smite & the defense of Greater Resiliency.

Why can't decisions be easy?

You plan on taking more templar levels? If you do then extra smite I think would be the way to go, if not then I'd go with greater resilency.

Just of my own curiousity, what is the Forsaken PrC?
