What should my Warlock take at 6th level?

They can take it at low level however they cannot use it until later.

Look at the chart on the right hand side the caster level has to be equal or higher than the level equivalent of the invocation.

Wow, that is very different than what is printed in BoVD. Does anyone know where this version in the SRD came from? I only see it in BoVD.

That's actually pretty terrible compared to the version in BoVD.

I don't see this in the BoVD. ...and I don't see BoVD errata on wizards site.

Prereq is just invocations, no verbage of any other limitations other than further uses per day.

It's been working really well at low levels... :)
The current version of Quicken SLA is in the 3.5e Monster Manual, and in the SRD.

It requires you to choose a specific Spell-Like Ability to which the feat applies - so, for instance, if you choose Eldritch Blast, you cannot apply it to any other invocation (unless you take it again).

It also requires that ability to have a spell level equal to half your caster level, minus four, which means that the earliest you can apply the feat to even a 1st-level ability such as Eldritch Blast (per the Complete Arcane errata) is 10th level.

I think I will do the Fey Skin feat. Since I am planning on being in melee it will be beneficial. It gives DR 1 + the number of fey feats that I have that have a prerequisite of Fey Heritage- which is 1 (Fey Skin). So, it will give +2 DR to my 1 DR making it 3 and I believe I get an additional DR at 7th level.
That's what I'd do if I were making a warlock-based melee character. If you take all available Fey feats, a 19th level warlock will have DR 10/cold iron, which is not too shabby at all.
