What significant technology advances are in your game?

New (Re-)Discoveries:
- The Teleportation Circle spell
- Several interesting tuning fork compositions for Plane Shift

Soon they'll re-discover some low DC Epic spells.

I'm running a Second World campaign right now, so it varies by where you are at.

In Europe, they have harnessed the power of elemental fire and have steam engines and steam... other thingies. ;)

In East Asia, they have harnessed the power of elemental lightning, and have rayguns and robots... but no gunpowder.

In South America, the "technology" of domestication is impossible, so unless you have an intelligent mount, you'll be walking...
 


In Light Against the Dark, my PCs have been slowly building a network of summoned lantern archons for purposes of communication and low-weight inter-city transport. The flowering of culture and economy has been happening all around them. It's been fun :D.
 

Hm... probably second-level spells.

It's been six centuries since the fall of mystic Rome, and third-level spells are the top of the heap. They don't even know Fireball in Europe.

To a certain extent, I've mixed technology and magic to determine what people are capable of...
