I played In Nomine in English, Guillaume. How was the French version different?

W.O.D. MY friends were doing the stupid Larp version, which isn't really the same thing.

Larpers have a compleatly different mindset than Table Top Rpgers.

I have played neither. However, In Nomine was a translation from the French INS/MV game written by Croc and published by Asmodee. In the French manual, the tone was definitely humourous. When I read the In Nomine version, the humour was very much toned down. Being fully bilingual, I also tend to use the material in French if I'm playing in the "langue de Molière" and in English if I'm playing in the language of Shakespeare.

FATE (particularly Dresden Files, although I've also wanted to try Starblazer Adventures and Spirit of the Century)

Universalis

Ars Magica -I've always wanted to give it a try, but I've never found a DM interested in running a game

FATE (particularly Dresden Files, although I've also wanted to try Starblazer Adventures and Spirit of the Century)

In the past:
7th Sea
Mutants and Masterminds (I ran a game, briefly, but I don't think highly of my DMing skills, nor do I have as much fun, generally)
D20 Modern

Things I'm still looking for an opportunity to play:
FATE (Dresden Files and Spirit of the Century, both look fantastic, and I want to try out the more narrative and collaborative play they look to encourage)
Swashbucklers of the 7 Skies
4th Ed (see Mutants and Masterminds)
