What the hell is THIS?!

If this question was in earnest, allow me to introduce you to innuendos.

Great reference to the 70s Britcom Are You Being Served? in that wiki definition of sexual innuendo - I love that old show! :)

Anyhow, I think some people are being a little deliberately obtuse if they can't see the sexual innuendo in that title, but whatever - people are free to publish what they like, just as they are free to buy or not buy whatever they like.

On a related note, when exactly did "mature" become a synonym for "sophomoric" in gaming ad copy? ;)

This is what happens when I type the first Boxer I could think of... damn. Nothing to see here. Move along, move along.... ;)

You should have said George Foreman - all he ever did to anyone was try to sell them a grill. :)

Well, I suppose the game is pretty harmless. But the name is something that would prevent me from buying the game in a shop. I simply don't like the connotation of a middle-aged man going into a shop and buying a game about Japanese schoolgirls called "Panty Explosion". I don't have problems with anything that feeds RPG paranoia. But I think that, in the current climate, anything that feeds allegations of having sexual interest in schoolgirls is a bit too dangerous to touch. I cannot exclude that this is a sign of paranoia on my part, but I wouldn't want to risk it.

Given that it's an RPG geared entirely towards otaku, I'd say the anime industry would have more to worry about than the RPG industry. I mean, we've survived Macho Women With Guns, haven't we?

And if you think the anime world would be at all worried, I (unfortunately) own a non-adult anime DVD whose tag line is "Roses are red, violets are blue, this show's about panties."

All I can say is that the phrase "Panty Explosion" makes me think somebody needs to use the laundry.
