What to buy, To buy what?

Monster of Faerun & Rokugan would be nice addition

The first because you can't really go wrong with a book of monster in full color.

The second if you liked the setting in OA.

But it would have been easier if you told us what kind of character you expected to play or which kind of campaign you are used to DM, something more precise than "not modern";)

Naval: Sea of Blood (I use it for my etherfarer campaign where ships sail the ethereal plane).

Evil: Evil by AEG (this one is usefull if you have never DMed an evil campaign, I don't know how usefull it would be for an experienced DM in this field).

Swashbuckling: swashbuckling adventures by AEG (this one is also interesting as a player, it has 90 prestige class, mainly for fighting style, and several interesting classes: alchemist for exemple, and some rules on bombs, mass combat, and naval combat).

Science-Fantasy: Dragonstar by FFG

Blessed by the gods with big wings or some mystic power: four color to fantasy by Natural 20 press (it would allow to have angel or Demon, with unique power, great for a medieval INS/MV game in d20).

If you don't have a subscription to Dungeon, pick up the latest. The Polyhedron includes Omega World...Gamma World for you old timers.

Mutants make great monsters! I just rolled up a heightened INT, spiky quilled, lightning touch Clicky mutant. 5 second monster!

Other purchases I've liked are Mongoose's Constructs and Shamans (tho a shaman requires a lot of work), and Touched by the Gods from Atlas.

And I swear by Traps and Treachery. If I ever use up all those bitchin traps I'll pick up the second one too.
