A friend (not affiliated with WotC) asked me to pimp out the following poll. It has 14 questions and is being used to determine what edition of D&D is being played.
This is not a poll for WotC, this is just one person's curiosity.
D&D Versions
Thanks!!
Okay, I'll bite.

On the positive side, I personally love the topic, having played D&D for 30 yrs now.... But ... I'd like to suggest that your friend puts in a few bits of info into the intro that "survey design principles" suggest to include: i.e., (1) who is conducting the survey, (2) what their affiliation is, (3) why they are conducting it, and (4) where respondents can find the results (e.g. a URL).
So, your friend in this survey should likely give more information in the intro, including a bit about *why* they are personally curious about the topic.
I'm curious about why *they* are curious -- but if I was also paranoid (but i'm not), I'd be wondering why they are not disclosing who they are.

things like that. He/she might get more responses if folks knew a bit more about it.
Anyway, other than that, it's pretty good. But please pass this on to your friend. I filled in the survey, btw, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the results.
If your friend can't put this info into the survey intro, can you post it here, for the terminally curious?
