What version of D&D are you playing??

Well, it is "What are you playing?" rather than "Are you playing"

But yes, if you are not playing D&D or Pathfinder, good luck telling the survey.

Thats a pointless issue. If the survey were about which brand of whiskey do you preffer, you could cut out anyone that do not drink whiskey at all and the survey would be perfect anyway. Its not a poll about the state of RPG, but about state of D&D. What would be the point of asking which version of DnD play to the 6 billion people out there that dont play DnD, or any other RPG for that matter?

i agree however, with others that have pointed its not exactly fair that one, and only one, game that does not feature the DnD logo is on the poll. While it *might* be the only one that statistically matter, the poll should not make such assumption. Thats slanting the poll

One thing - how "local" is local for a local gaming store? Five years ago, I had two gaming stores within 10 miles of me. Those have both since closed. However, there are still several gaming stores within 25 miles of me. Some people would consider that local, some people would not.

Good point. My closest gaming store is 30 minutes away. So I shop online or go to Books-a-Million instead. Granted, I didn't know one local gaming store had disappeared for over a year. I have no need to frequent them, these days.

Same problem here, I answered it based on what I consider local. In my case I consider things within 25-30 miles local as I live in a rural area and even getting to a major supermarket means at least a 20 to 25 minute drive. So my range of what I consider local likely exceeds someone that lives in the city limits.

and, where I live, a 20-25 mile ride can take 40-45 minutes because of congestion and/or the lack of a straight route.

So, I did not consider that local.

That's weird, because I live in Northern VA, and 20-25 miles almost always takes 40-45 minutes, but I still consider stores about that far away as local. :D
