Here's a place to list the last books you bought and what you thought of them. Kind of like the 'What were the last books you used' thread.

Last books I bought:
Unearthed Arcana - Excellent book. Worth every penny I paid for it. I may not use every variant, but a lot of the ones in there are really great.

Book of Fiends - Haven't fully looked through it yet. Looks good, but not as good as many said it was. More of a stylistic thing though, as I much prefer some of the 'classic' D&D fiends over many of the newer ones, especially the Demon Lords. That said, I look forward to reading through the whole book, however the monster layout really, really sucks.

Planscape Box Set: Excellent product, one of the best box sets I have.

Planscape Monster Compendium: Great feel of the creatures for the planscape campaign, brilliant.

Both those are second edition, but I was able to finally find them.

Well these are books I just now got:

Edge of Infinity: Scarred Planes. Truly I think only Book of the Righteous' own cosmology is compareable to how damn interesting and cool this book is.

Player's Guide to Rangers and Rogues. Sharpen your arrows and ready your lock picks boys. Cause this book, while it won't blow the doors off, will rock a lot of player's worlds. Especially when you look at some of the ways to make difficult terrians like Glutton lands, variant rules for making contacts for your rogues, and terrian feats.

Grim Tales Ben and the boys did a great job blending the very best of the d20 rules into one package. Any experienced gamer who wants a toolkit to run a special campaign should grab this book. I just cannot say enough good things about it. I ran a really fun ancients campaign using the rules.

Lost City of Barakus Not exactly a new release, but this book has so much bang for the buck. If you can find it - buy it!

* Fury in the Wastelands: Orcs of Tellene. I just started working on developing the orc culture for my homebrew so I picked this up. Some really interesting bits, but I haven't finished reading it yet.

* Quintessential Kobold (pdf). I'm planning on writing a review of this since no one else has written one yet. A pretty clever way of looking at kobolds, from the mythology of four main "tribes". Plus, I have to support Mongoose's e-books since I wrote one that is yet to be published.

* On order: Age of Legends and Complete Divine.

Just picked up Return of the King on DVD.

Oh, books.

Got Tome of Horrors II on the way home from work. Not too shabby, though it is a bit different not having the nostalgia factor. However, there were some good candidates in there for a Grim Tales game...

The last three books I bought were Poisoncraft: The Dark Art, a PDF (surprisingly good!); Relics & Rituals: Excalibur (a fluff book, WW's forte), and Complete Divine. I'm happy with them all.

I just got Virtual in the mail after an eBay purchase. I liked the rest of the Horizons line, so I wanted to see this book.

I bought The Age of Heroes AD&D Campaing Sourcebook last weekend at a convention. It is a used copy that I got at a slight discount but worth it to me since I have been intrigued by Ancient Greece since reading posts of Sean Reynolds's New Argonauts Campaign. I have now seen the movie Troy as well.

Last week Dungeon and KODT arrived.

I just got Creatures of Freeport today, haven't had much of a chance to look at it, but from what I did see it looks good. Devoting 5 pages to a creature instead of a half page summary is a great idea.
