D&D 4E What will be your first 4E character?

Fallen Seraph said:
3) Gnoll Fighter (if Gnoll is a MM PC Race) this Gnoll is a nasty piece of work, it likes to play with its hunt, bashing and scrapping it across the ground before finally finishing it off and enjoying a nice meal.

Loving the gnolls in this edition too. :)

Will be DMing but interested in Human or Dwarf Warlord, Eladrin Rogue with the fey step would be a formidable character as it can walk into a flank from 5 squares away once per encounter.

Dwarf rogue. I've always wanted to play a dwarven rogue because I always felt that there was something intrinsically nasty about a dwarf who would stoop to stealing.

I'm especially excited about the brawny rogue build.

My first character will probably be a human feypact warlock, since it is the closest thing to a druid I have seen.

I really wish the druid had made the first cut. But it will be a while before I have to worry about rolling up a 4E character, so who knows...maybe they will have released the 4E druid by the time I finish my current campaign?

I wanna try them all.

I'll be the main DM, but fortunately everyone in my group gets a chance to put the DM hat on. so I'll get to play in between the gaps.
I wanna try them all, but my 1st will probably be:

Dwarf Fighter or Warlord or Gnoll ranger.

I might also give half-elfs a whirl. I didn't like em' in 3.5, so maybe I'll like em' in 4th.

Well A friend predicted I would take an Eladrin Wizard. I was not so sure: wizard, yeah I like playing wizards. (My first ever D&D character was a wizard). Eladrin? When I got a chance to see what they did and saw the fey step racial ability: Eladrin Wizard.

I guess he knew what he was talking about.

You guys are out of cool ideas...

Half-Elf totally multiclassed Paladin-Rogue of Evil alignment
Halfling Warlord-Rogue centered on Charisma
Dragonborn Rogue specialized in strength and acrobatics
Gnome (there will be gnome race, you always forget it) Shadow-pact Warlock
Minotaur Paladin... (because minotaurs are playable race)
Shifter Fey-pact Warlock
Shadar-Kai Fighter with Warlock training

...

I will simply never have time to play all the 4e characters I'd like to play. I'm the GM.

EDIT: Maybe some of you have missed this? http://www.enworld.org/showpost.php?p=4080377&postcount=1

Eladrin fey-pact warlock.

Totally going to roleplay the Lords and Ladies-style of elf - the scary ones that would smash the world to see if it made a pretty noise.

I am excited.
