D&D 4E What will be your first 4E character?

Dragonborn Fighter or Warlord.

I'm curious to see how the changes to combat class feat/ability/power progression will work out. It'll be a welcome change to all the sorcerers & wizards I usually end up playing.

I'm the DM every other friday, so I'll be playing lots of baddies. :D

I do play in another group on the opposite saturday nights, so if that group switches then I'll be playing the most cantankerous dwarven fighter I've ever rolled up. Complete with a scottish accent and everything. Yes, very stereotypical but what can I say, I've always wanted to call the party leader a "bloated milk-drinking beard tick". :p

Shifter Warlord. Focus on Charisma, strength and wisdom. Drop down to hide armor and lay waste to my enemies with a massive two-handed warclub. It is going to be awesome.

I think I'd like to play an eladrin or elf fighter, perhaps with a splash of ranger or rogue, to create a master swordsman (swordself?).

I'll be our first 4e DM, so my first characters will be the monsters.

By the time I get to 'play' a character, I'll have seen many in action and will have a better idea.
For now Races that intrest me: Dragonborn, Tiefling, Halfling, Human.
Classes: Rogue, Warlock, Wizard, Fighter, Paladin.

Of course those are pretty broad, but like I said; it will be awhile before I actually play.

I'm in the 'probably going to DM' group, considering only myself and one other person in our group even has a vague interest in getting up to speed on 4th ed...

... but I'm planning on trying out LFR when it becomes available, and I'll be playing an Orc [something] considering all the time I spent in dungeon delves trying to get that bleeping card!

Maybe a warlord, barbarian (whenever they come out), or fighter. Outside chance of a paladin.

My players would be pissed if I did that. But if yours are good with that, more power to you.
I think they'll be OK. I am tailoring the PCs to what they tend to play.

My favourite PC for the campaign, though, is the teifling paladin who has two human parents. (Wink, wink.)

Tiefling warlord so I can use my infernal background to scare everyone into letting me control their characters muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Oh wait seriously eh ?

Eladrin (maybe tiefling) rogue,

dragonborn maybe tiefling) warlord,

tiefling warlock
