Well considering they have some former Microsoft execs now, how long did it take Microsoft to go from "Windows 10 will be the last version" to "here's Windows 11"?10 years ago id agree, but in this digital age with the "end of editions" I highly doubt it.
I think they are moving in more of a MMO World of Warcraft direction. The game will remain the same name, but have small incremental changes over the years. Eventually, the game will play nothing like today, but it will still be called D&D.Well considering they have some former Microsoft execs now, how long did it take Microsoft to go from "Windows 10 will be the last version" to "here's Windows 11"?
Oh cruel irony.I think they are moving in more of a MMO World of Warcraft direction.
This is why this new edition/whatever isn't very interesting to me. I'm fine playing 5E, and probably transitioning to this 5.5 whatsit, but I'd love to see some bigger changes to this game my group hands-down prefers to play.IF they where calling it 6e they could redraw systems from the ground up to fix issues like that.
maybe... or maybe 3 years if the 2024 books don't keep selling. No way to know.About 10 years then?
Ah, I dont think the future is in books, so I can see our disconnect.maybe... or maybe 3 years if the 2024 books don't keep selling. No way to know.
my buddy who works in government always says a quote from some movie "Everytime people tell me we are becoming a paperless society I get 2 new forms to fill out, sometimes in triplicate."Ah, I dont think the future is in books, so I can see our disconnect.
Ah, subscriptions services. We meet again. The glistening oil that has ruined everything it's touched.Ah, I dont think the future is in books, so I can see our disconnect.
