D&D 5E What would you like to see in a Feywild setting/adventure?

Gaming is fun, and fun is for everyone
Hi everyone! Speculation threads seem to have died down, so I'm throwing out a new one! This time, I'm speculating on the Feywild Unearthed Arcana that released a couple months ago.

Let's assume that the UA was a precursor to a Feywild book of some kind releasing this year. If such a book is forthcoming, what would you be hoping to see in it?

Now, I'm personally hoping for an adventure, much in the style of Descent into Avernus that starts somewhere like Neverwinter or the Moonshaes, but quickly shifts to the Feywild. Things in that adventure I'd like to see;

  • A hobgoblin-fey kingdom
  • The Unseelie and Seelie courts (descriptions of their differences and realms)
  • Stats for some of the Archfey
  • Evermeet, the final destination for Faerun elves
  • The Feydark, or the Fey version of the Underdark

I also wouldn't mind seeing the main villain being Lolth, leading a plot to finally dethrone the Elven gods in a vast conspiracy-invasion.

But that's my theories, and really what I'd like to see. What would all of you be interested in?

Rules for a fey world. Things work differently there.

Flavor descriptions of the fey world and fey in general to inspire and use.

Charts of fey weirdness.

More fey monster entries.

Archfey.

Possibly Baba Yaga. It could be a good product for her to show up in either directly with stats or narratively.

I would like some discussion of how D&D gnomes and elves specifically relate to fey stuff.

Possibly some druidic tradition stuff of fey connections.

More fey pact warlock stuff. Particularly cool character hooks to work off of.

Fey magical effects, fairy rings, gate post gates, kingdom halls under hills, etc.

I seem to recall hearing that there were lots of different fey courts, at least in 4e. Perhaps using the same sort of faction/renown type rules that they used in Ravnica.

Of course, I'd like to see many other types of fey creatures introduced (as long as they're not redundant; earlier editions had lots of redundant fey).

I'm really hoping that the Feywild UA is a prelude to a Llorwyn/Shadowmoor M:tG setting, something along the lines of what they released for Theros. It's my favorite card block, and I'd love to see how they develop the mechanics and lore to reflect it into D&D.

It's a longshot, I know, but hope springs eternal.

Knights in shining armor riding flail snails.

A bullywug who’s been cursed to look like an eladrin prince. Escort his frogfolk lady to his side and let true love’s kiss change him back.

Feywild ettins wrapped up in iron chains.

A tribe of fomorians led by a balor demon.

Rime of the Frostmaiden explored goliaths a bit. Do the same in this one but with firbolgs.

Lots of things
  • Some details and suggestions for how to run the different courts, the leaders and creatures you're likely to encounter (good and bad).
  • Discussion of how to handle the fey mindset. The fey should feel different. Dangerous, inscrutable, bound to tell the truth but twist it.
  • Effects of the feywild. Do you become beguiled if you eat there? Do you risk becoming overwhelmed or enchanted? How does time pass, do you risk a Rip Van Winkle?
  • Abbreviated stories and myths and how to use them for inspiration. Include a bibliography and suggested reading list.
I use the feywild now and then and just describe it as more. The babbling brook is making enchanting music, stopping to smell the flowers could be dangerous because you could become intoxicated by the smell, fey have a very different outlook and so on.

So anything that gives me ideas on how to run them the better!

I was looking through the 4E Open Grave (Undead) Sourcebook and how it presented Undead Lairs and encounters, I'd love the same treatment given to Fey Encounters that reflected the weird and dangerous aspects of Fey deals and curses.
